The Fitzgerald of Palisades, a senior living community in Washington, DC, has earned Best Multi-Family – Washington, DC in the CREDA DC | MD 2026 Awards of Excellence.
Aquatic Design Group provided aquatic design, engineering, and construction observation services for the community’s elevated, on-structure three-lane swimming pool with a zero-depth entry ramp and hydrotherapy spa.
Aquatic Amenities Support Senior Living Wellness
Located in Washington’s Palisades neighborhood, The Fitzgerald integrates spaces for fitness, relaxation, and social connection into daily life. Its heated indoor saltwater pool complements a fitness center, dedicated yoga studio, and fitness classes, giving residents multiple ways to stay active throughout the year.
The three-lane pool provides space for swimming and exercise, while the zero-depth entry ramp offers a gradual transition into the water. A separate hydrotherapy spa adds another setting for relaxation. Together, these aquatic amenities contribute to the community’s broader focus on resident wellness.
